Frequently Asked Questions
We look for energetic young (or young at heart!) women who can think fast to keep up with Tricia. Ideally, you'll have high physical support experience and appropriate qualifications in disability or health-related fields. We love to see Div1 and Div2 nurses (qualified or 3rd+ yr students), experienced DSW's, OT's, Physio's and Speechies. Most important is a "can do" right attitude and a love of supporting others to live their life.
Please note that due to the nature of the work, the participant has requested no male support workers.
Shifts hours are currently between 8am and 9pm, 7 days a week, with a plan to move to 24/7 as soon as staffing allows.
We offer flexible rostering and your preference of hours wherever possible, and a team approach to covering vacancies and ensuring consistent support delivery.
We mainly offer part time positions with hours up to 76 hours a fortnight.
We will also consider casual employment, as long as hours and shifts comply with FairWork guidelines for casual employees. If you have a preference or a specific need, talk to us!
You'll already have the basics covered for working with NDIS participants and we provide training specific to Tricia, including:
-
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) - PODD
-
Dysphagia meal assistance
-
Advanced PEJ training
-
Participant specific medication management.
The main location is a comfortable suburban home modified to support a person in a wheelchair. The home has heating and air conditioning and is also well equipped with H-frame ceiling hoists, hi-lo bed and a number of other tools to make life safe and easier.

About us
We are a Disability Support Provider with only ONE participant, seeking to ensure a consistent and reliable support team.
However, underpinning that, we are a family driven to provide an ongoing and self-sustaining support model for our adult daughter with Cerebral Palsy. We know how capable she is, and we are doing the best we can to allow her to take charge and make that happen.
We are working towards registration with the NDIS Commission.
